Legitimate sites & hiring partners of the main cruise lines and how to start applying.

Step by Step Guide

If you are looking to start your life at sea please first read on How to Spot Cruise Ship Scam Job Offers & Avoid Losing Money

Where Do I Start?

Depending on the cruise line you will find some have their own application websites that require you to sign-up and create a profile and/or independent recruiters in each country, plus some will receive applicants' CVs via e-mail.

Some cruise lines only accept applicants for open vacancies while others welcome all applications for future consideration.

Main Official Web Sites

In the list below you will find links to the main cruise lines' web pages where you can search for current job openings, create a profile and apply for jobs directly.

I've listed the general sites for the three biggest Cruise Line Corporations and the Individual Sites for each company below. First those to apply directly, followed by recruiting partners listed on official websites and lastly third party job offering sites.

Individual Cruise Line Sites to Register and/or Apply via E-Mail

On the following web pages, you will find cruise lines offering a description of the shipboard roles in their fleet and two ways to apply: direct links to send your resume sometimes only available for current positions and in some cases there's an address where you can send your resume regardless of current openings; or signing up to each site, creating a profile and applying via their portal.

Hiring Partners & Concessions

Some cruise lines use hiring partners in each country to do the applicant screening for them (some do exclusively and some do besides the direct application option) as well some shipboard positions work via concessionaire partners like retail, spa, casino and sometimes photographers, in this case, you will be hired by them and allocated to one of the cruise lines they offer their services to.

Find Hiring Partners in Your Country

Concessions

These companies offer third-party services to multiple cruise lines and will place you wherever they need personnel trying to match your best fit. Mainly in the areas of retail, spa, photography, art auctions and casino. Here are some examples.

Third-party Job Searching Sites

Some cruise lines directly point applicants to third party sites they actively post and search in like LinkedIn or Glassdoor.

Other private websites attempt to gather and post all current job offerings from various companies, but as I said many companies don't post their current vacancies and accept unsolicited applications so don't stop there! Do take advantage of their link lists for different cruise lines.

Always make it a priority to apply directly with the cruise lines or official hiring partners.

💡 I can't vouch for any of these sites myself.
